Monaco: The government of the Principality and the Renault-Nissan alliance are working together to promote electric vehicles.

Portugal: A direct partnership has been formed with the Renault-Nissan alliance in order to commercialise mass-market electrical vehicles from 2011 onwards.

The Netherlands: The Dutch government has asked the Renault-Nissan alliance to contribute to a plan to reduce CO2 emissions in the Netherlands through introducing electric mobility in the country.

USA

California: In the north of California (USA), the Renault-Nissan alliance is working with the Sonoma County Council to develop zero CO2 emissions mobility, through promoting electric vehicles and developing a recharging network.

ASIA

China: The Chinese government has launched a pilot program for public transport vehicles using new energy technologies, which will be deployed in 30 towns. The Renault-Nissan alliance announced its partnership with the Chinese Ministry of Industry and Information technology (MIIT) for zero emissions mobility in China.

Japan: The Kanagawa department of administration has announced an incentives programme offering tax grants and exemptions for the promotion of a large-scale electric vehicles project starting in 2010.
