A new economic model in the automotive industry

The gradual replacement of the conventional vehicle by an ELECTRIC VEHICLE will have a constructive effect on the automotive industry: new partners, a new economic model and a new experience for the user.

The purchaser of an ELECTRIC VEHICLE will lease the battery with a subscription to an energy supplier: for greater simplicity, contracts for all of this can be arranged at the same dealership.

For use, a battery recharge network will have to be set up: at home or at work for standard charging, in fast charging stations and in battery exchange stations (Quickdrop stations).

Energy and infrastructure are therefore central to the success of the electric vehicle. This is why Renault has been working with key partners.

Operators (battery hire and installation infrastructure), energy suppliers, networks and local authorities have been involved in the development of Renault Z.E.
