Facebook, Twitter, blogs… If you are a social media addict, you won’t have missed the “Hello ZE World” campaign, launched for Renault Z.E.’s electric cars.
To start things off, the Eyeka community created 30-second long videos, like the kind you would usually see for Hollywood blockbuster movies. They announced the arrival of the enigmatic “Hello ZE World”. No mention was made of Renault Z.E. at first, until a very “rock’n’roll” reveal. When an electric car meets an electric guitar champion, results are guaranteed!
In the end, more than 677 300 Facebook users posted the videos on their profiles, and over 1000 tweets talked about the campaign. A great mobilization by the Renault Z.E. community!

Renault Z.E. keeps making headlines worldwide. Take the Twizy, for instance. This “revolutionary vehicle” started off the month by a little trip to India. The car was actually being displayed outside Europe for the first time, in front of Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit, no less! It was confirmed that the Renault Z.E. range will be launched in India by 2014.
But India was not the only place going crazy for Renault’s electric vehicles. A letter of intent signed in Reunion also made strides. Renault will test 50 electric vehicles charged from renewable energy sources, right on the island.
