Breaking news for Twizy: prices revealed and online reservations now open!
Renault just made a huge announcement from the Barcelona Motor Show, revealing the much awaited prices for Twizy. Reservations are now open at www.renault-ze.com.
As announced at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show, tax-paid Twizy prices will begin from €6,990* in Europe. This price is for Twizy 45 which is powered by a five-horsepower motor and which can be driven without a driving licence in certain countries. Renault Twizy is equipped with a 17hp motor and is available in a choice of two finishes: Urban and Technic, which will sell from €7,690* and €8,490* respectively. Renault Twizy is due to go on sale at the end of 2011 in Europe. It is manufactured at Renault’s Valladolid plant in Spain.

since the information on this subject seem to be that the pre-reservation should be possible for all europe?

For now, Twizy is not intended to be sold in Sweden. That’s why you can’t do a pre-reservation.

Will the Twizy be drivable in the UK on a B1 license?

For Twizy 75 (50 mph), you need a driving licence.

Pricing and release dates on both haven’t been announced yet. Depending on your country, they will vary.
Will Renault sell Twizy in Romania?
If you will, then when? At what price point?
And, will it qualify for government subsidy and/or old car recycling vouchers?
Also, why there is no Romanian section on renault-ze.com?

Twizy will arrive in more countries later. No price have been announced yet for Romania, but we’ll keep you updated.
Twizy qualifies for subsidies in several European countries, you should ask to the local authorities when Twizy will be announced in Romania.
Our website is being updated in different languages, the new Romanian version of the website will be online later.
